i am trying to get info for the flight AEA423 using the getflightinfo api method but i get no data.

Unfortunately that flight does not have adequate tracking coverage, partly because that airline (Air Europa) does not provide their flight plan, flight schedules, or flight events to us. If you enable “position only” flight tracking in your account preferences, you’ll be able to see some more of their flights, but the accuracy will still be lower than most other normal flights.
