Hi would like to know If I build a FlightAware PiAware ADS-B - dump1090 on a Raspberry Pi, can i use it on my PA28 - aircarft for receiving feeds? so that i can use as traffic tracker near my aircraft?

I’ve seen threads here where people are using it mobile in a car, but not sure if it works also on a plane.

I think you might need to have a GPS module for the position. But let’s wait for the experts here

Theoretically you can, but if you’re after a DIY ADS-B in solution, then Stratux (stratux.me) is probably a better fit.
