Air France likes to stop in Cairns on their 773ER delivery flights (press release from 2004).

It’s Etihad’s 2nd new B773ER, A6-ETB, although was using Boeing test reg N5020K for this flight. It flew to Cairns and then on to Alice Springs for air conditioning and hot weather testing. Came back to Cairns at the weekend (last weekend) and left on Monday back for PAE.
