To whom it may concern:
This is the second trip I have had canceled by Aveloair, the first was Raleigh to Sarasota December 1-10th. It’s not convenient to have it canceled in high season (February) when other airline fares are higher now than they would have been when I booked with Avelo. The airline appears to be highly unreliable. I booked a car through Avelo and did not know that I would have to find Cartroller’s number–so initially that was not an easy cancel and I could not deal with Dollar directly.
In the future I will schedule with either Delta, American or Southwest and not take a chance on Avelo (the $25 credit is worthless). It was a great service to have direct flights from Raleigh to Sarasota, but it has turned out to be a very disappointing experience.
