I searched all over this form but couldn’t find a discussion of this issue. On IFR practice flights the track log has good time information, but the duration and arrival time seem to be based on a projection from the flight plan distance. The error can be huge if the original flight plan showed a very short distance. Doesn’t the FAA provide a time stamp when the flight is marked as arrived?
