I’ve found a used Jetvision 1090-GPS antenna for €30 (shipping included), but from what I’ve seen this antenna has a built in GPS.
Currently I’m using the FlightAware Pro Stick Plus and the question is, will the antenna work in my system? I’ve no plans to use the GPS.
Should be OK for 1090-only, if that’s the antenna I think it is, they’re basically just a 1090 antenna + active GPS antenna (bias-tee powered), and a little diplexer.
You may want to check the weather seal on the antenna, some older stock had problems with water ingress.
