AirportBoards / filed_departure_time off by 10 minutes

Hi,

I am interested in flight departures from Heathrow London.

After comparing the results from the API (https://flightxml.flightaware.com/json/FlightXML3/AirportBoards?airport_code=EGLL&offset=15) to Heathrow’s own website (Departures | Heathrow) it seems that every filed_departure_time is off by 10 minutes.

For example: according to the API CPA250 / CX250 is scheduled to depart at 6:30pm, however Heathrow and Google says it departs at 6:20pm.

This behaviour can be seen for all the flights I manually checked.

While this persist, we will not be able to use the API as customers would potentially get very confused about their flights.

Airline web pages typically refer to gate out/in times (which we call OffBlock or OnBlock). The times when the aircraft lifts off the runway or touches down on the runway are what we call Departure and Arrival.
