I currently have a 978mhz antenna and dongle from flightaware. I’m wanting to add a 1090mhz dongle and antenna. What do I need to do to the config file to make the 1090mhz work and also make the MLAT work? Thanks in advance.
The config file instructions can be found on the Flight Aware website. I found out the hard way that the MLAT functionality is very dependent on very accurate latitude and longitude location numbers for your antenna/site. If they are just close to actual values, the MLAT system will reject you.
