I didn’t put every altitude or speed in but it will give an idea of how efficient Rolls Royce is at turning fuel into noise.
The flight planning tool is fun but in heavier aircraft we tend to climb two or three times during a long flight, this software seems to pick the first altitude the airplane will climb to and that’s it.
For anyone who want’s to compare the Tip Tank version to the straight wing or SP we have (round numbers here) 26,000 lbs. of fuel at the start of the takeoff roll while the other two have a bit more than 22,000. The original burns about 7% less than the TT while the SP is another 7% less.
