Add LCD to existing piaware 8.2 install

Hi,
I had piaware running for a long time and it seems the microSD card in the RaspberryPi died, so I had to reinstall.
I was unsuccessful with the imaging of the piaware with LCD image, somehow it wouldn’t boot (installed on a new microSD card).
So I resorted to install Raspbian and install piaware and dump1090. I now have a working piaware.
I’d like to know if I can install the LCD capability on top of this install. If it’s been answered before, please let me know, I didn’t find it in the forums or on the web.
Thanks in advance!
Fred

The download for the LCD version can be found in this post.

Indeed, but for some reason the LCD image, when installed on my MicroSD using etcher.io, it somehow doesn’t work. I’ve installed using the “sudo apt-get install piaware” and was wondering if I can add the LCD package on top of that.
Thanks!

I have exactly the same problem. I was running 6.1 with the Debian add-on and decided to go for the 8.2 upgrade, and it fails in different places in the boot process. I can also run the 8.2 with non-lcd support, but it won’t boot the lcd supported version…
