In response to a surprising amount of popular demand FlightAware has launched two new types of web accounts today for commercial operators that wish to use FlightAware’s powerful flight tracking interface for operational purposes but don’t want to be confined by the limitation of the free accounts. The new commercial accounts range from $19.95 to $39.95/mo and support either 25 or unlimited flight alerts and aircraft in “My FlightAware.”
As always, FlightAware’s primary focus is to continue offering the best free flight tracking services and to continue to innovate and improve functionality on the FlightAware.com web site. We will continue to actively develop and improve the free accounts (so please keep sending feedback!) as rapidly as possible. We have a very impressive suite of new functionality in the works that everyone can expect to see in the coming months.
If you operate a large number of aircraft, please consider upgrading to a premium account if the free account is not meeting all of your needs. Additionally, please explore FlightAware’s other commercial products for commercial operators, FBOs, software developers, and aircraft owners.
