I installed AcarsDeco2 for Windows and it’s working fine.
I want to send the data from it to VRS. VRS is also working fine with ADS-B.
Both VRS and AcarsDeco2 are running on the same PC.
I have tried every possible setting, but no success. VRS shows connected, but only bad messages are received.
I suspect the problem is on the VRS side, but no clue. Any help appreciated.
bad data in VRS indicates normally that you have choosen the wrong type of data while importing it. I would try the different types of formatting the data which are offered in VRS
I tried them all, all connect. The diference is that with some settings nothing happens, others all bad, and another mostly bad with a few good but no planes.
For people to tell you how to configure VRS, they’ll need to know which command line is being used for acarsdeco2.
Not sure acars has any positions really, thought that was if at all on VDL.

(1) Add this to AcarSDeco2 parameters:
–outServer ad2:30008
Sets TCP server for output data on port 30008
(2) In VRS set
port 30008
My impression as well, but when I saw mention of sending acars data to VRS I wanted to try.
As they use to say at work after failing to find a suitable candidate for a position: “This process is declared non-productive”. Time to move on to the next ‘challenge’. 
cd /usr/share/ad2
./acarsdeco2 --help
That would i assume have information on what kind of data comes out of that outServer.
Which would in turn mean you might know which format it is.
I’d have expected it to be SBS / Basestation format possibly?

I’m using the Windows version of AcarsDeco2.
On AcarsDeco2 I tried sbs, ad2 and pp just to see, but nothing worked.
On VRS I tried all formats on the pull down menu.
It was time ‘well wasted’, moving on.

Well the only overlap with VRS would be SBS / Basestation, no?
Set Basestation for both programs and give it some time.
Set it as a satellite receiver in VRS so aircraft stay on the map longer.
I tried basestation on VRS but there is no basestation option in AcarSDeco2 v.20181201 for Windows, only sbs|ad2|pp.
I wrote Basestation / SBS for a reason, it’s the same.
AcarsDeco2 uninstalled. Thank you all!
This command pertains to installation on RPi
On windows it is C:\path\to\file> .\acarsdeo2.exe --help
On my Windows PC it is:
C:\Users\abcd\Desktop\acarsdeco2_windows_20181201>.\acarsdeco2.exe --help
--outServer arg Output server. Format: (sbs|ad2|pp):port
The detail was marked on a screenshot of VRS Settings and attached to that post. Unfortunately sometimes in past, the forum admin have deleted attachment on all old posts to reduce file load on server.
As it is long time ago, I dont remember what it was. However I recreated that screenshot (attached below) using Basestation format. It results in lot of bad messages. Other formats show 0 messages, only Basestation shows lot of messages, but most of these are in bad message category. Please see the second screenshot below.
