1 killed in GA plane crash, Provo, UT

This is about 25 miles to the South of where I live :frowning: Looks like he was VERY close to the runway.

Wreckage looks to be intact, surprised it was a fatal. Sad for the family and friends. RIP

Don’t know if he still had the original seat belts in this plane, but this is the type of accident where inertia reel 4-point safety belts could keep your head from hitting the panel and save your life. Never liked the single shoulder belt and needs to be replaced every 10 years anyway. RIP.

Looks like there was a body of water right next to him, to bad he didn’t pull a Sully. To often, I think pilots try to save the plane and not their life.
