Zoom Airlines suspend all flights

I think it is safe to say that these guys are most likely gone. I don’t see them getting any money from any investor.

With routes like Cardiff-Vancouver and Glasgow-Calgary is it really much of a surprise?

Zoom made a profit last year, maybe not on each and every route but they were very popular with their customers. And reliable too compared to some other competitors. Fuel prices did them in, wth some help from swingeing airport ‘fees’ in the UK and Canada.

Flights are now cancelled and the company is closed for business. I don’t expect to see them back, more’s the pity.

Sad to see this one go. I liked their very noticeable color scheme (better if it was orange though!).

I agree. They had to be in niche markets to succede, but the catch-22 is that these markets can’t support traffic for the routes they flew. Made it hard to succede.
