How does an incorrect identifier happen? Look at N9020V. How does a Baron become a PA-28a?
Did the pilot or FAA put it in the system incorrectly?
It looks like a PA28 in FL picked up flight following and ATC just put the wrong tail number into the system. If you notice all of the “real” N9020V activity is up in NY. (Plus the graph for the flight in question shows a ground speed of 90-100 knots which is more Cherokee than Baron territory
