Why are some flights missing on the big map?

Hello Flight Aware staff,

I regularly use your awesome website as part of my work at Indy Center. I have noticed recently that I will hear flights on frequency and then check on Flight Aware and not see them on the big map. But when I look up the flight numbers separately, they will display the current track/flight information with no problem

So my question. Is this intentional or a bug to not have these flights showing up on your big map?

It is not intentional – what’s the flight ident and can you share a link to the pages you’re using?
