I thought KBWI was already closed this afternoon.
Looks like he was able to land somehow. I’ll bet there was a serious pucker factor there.
But you’re right–there were no flights going in or out of there in the last several hours.
I just looked and there are a couple flights that are still ‘scheduled’ to leave. It does say that the airport is open, but all commercial flights have been cancelled.
I am in the Baltimore area and it is snowing incredibly heavy right now. We’re getting about 2 to 3 inches of snow per hour right now, so I can’t imagine that the runways are clear enough to allow for any activity. They may be scheduled to leave, but I’ll bet they don’t actually get off the ground until tomorrow afternoon some time.
