What is your favorite aircraft(s)?

My favorite is the Boeing 747-400, it is just beautiful. It looks awesome in BA colors.

Since this thread was resurrected 7 years later…

Boeing 747 hands down for me. I love to fly when I can Lufthansa’ 8I variant because has an updated interior. I even paid more to be on that flight than on their Airbus counterparts.
On any plane I love the 2–4–2 seating, hate the 3-3-3 one.
Next in line for me is Boeing 787 Dreamliner, just because I feel much better at the end of a long trip (higher cabin pressure and humidity). Unfortunately is in the dreaded 3-3-3 setup. And the outside doesn’t do anything to me…

PS: I fly over Atlantic several times a year, I can’t always choose what I fly, most of the time economy or economy premium, so I was exposed to almost every aircraft there is in BA, KLM, AF, Alitalia, Iberia, Delta, AA… even Ethiopian Airlines (787-8) to Africa.

For me the B 777-3ER and 787-9 are the favorites. 767-4ER also very nice. Airbus Jets always seem to be falling to pieces in just a few years of service. For a hop flight the Q400 is the nice one. Yes it’s a turbo prop but when the regional jets cancel the Q400 are still able to take off and land. That’s saying something. From the days of old I always loved the Lockheed L10-11, and the 727-4 seemed wider so didn’t have sardeen phobia.

I was very lucky to have flown on a DC10. Back then, it was the best aircraft ever made. The next for me was the B777.200. This Christmas holiday, I will be flying on the A350!

Passanger - hey man, if one of these engines fail, how far will the other one take us?

Ron White - all the way to the scene of the crash!

Boeing 747, CRJ-200 and CRJ-900

It depends on whether I’m in the cockpit (Falcon 900LX) or in the back (Boeing 787-9 First Class).

Martin 4-0-4. The first pressurized aircraft and the last piston-engine aircraft for some airlines.

After nightfall, I loved to watch the flame exhaust from the Pratt & Whitney radial engine licking the wing.

Flew for AAL, 32 years. B-757 models were hands-down my favorites! Being retired for 22 years now, I know I haven’t had the chance to find another ā€œfavoriteā€ among the newer aircraft.

It’s as simple as that. It’s a real shame that they’re dying out.
