Was there a change to the available weather radars currently? Earlier this week the radar changed colors, but now the classic radar has been removed (at least from the Enterprise tier I’m on) and now all that is available is Worldwide Weather, which is far inferior to the other option.
Was access to that radar removed from us, or is this a temporary thing?

You didn’t say how you are viewing.
I rarely use the FA local or web views, but the local views still look the same with the high-quality nexrad data.
The IP:8080 PiAware SkyAware local view as below still shows the US NEXRAD option. This shows the weather near your location by KRDU. Obviously, use your own IP.
The online SkyAware Anywhere that shows all your stations also has the US NEWRAD option.
You mentioned a low-quality Worldwide Weather option, so I checked online.
This page for KRDU definitely has low-resolution Worldwide weather selected. The page shows “Weather Radar” as a locked premium feature, so I’m guessing that would have the NEWRAD. Since I don’t normally view FA online data, I don’t know if this is a recent change or not. I decode with dump1090-fa and dump978-fa, but never actually view my data with their products.

Hi Dan, this is on the regular FlightAware, not my local Pi. It’s been there for…15? years at least so this change seems to be extremely recent.
It’s been years since I looked at that FA global online map. I’m guessing you mean this one:
That one definitely has the low-quality world weather, and not NEXRAD. I’m guessing that’s the one you’re using.
One slightly strange thing about FA is that they track login status separately for the FA web site and the FA message site. When I checked earlier, I noticed that while logged in to messages, I was not actually still logged in to the main site. Even while logged in, as a feeder, the /live site above shows only world weather for me and shows higher quality as a paid option. That might be an intentional change, but is probably something that just got overlooked with a recent change somewhere. I would certainly hope that feeder status would provide NEXRAD radar.
If you’re not using that /live page above, if you provide a link it might help you to get an answer tomorrow from someone with FA.

Not being based in the US, NEXRAD weather is of little interest to those outside of the US, but here’s a thought - integrate Windy.com into FA as a layer; this can and does provide weather, temperature, winds, rain, etc globally, thus I suspect it would be of interest to all non-US FA subscribers.
