Atlas Air frequents PSM on a near daily basis as a fuel stop for their military charters overseas and is normally nothing to remark about. Today was weird though… I heard a bunch of loud and distinctive rumbling sounds coming from PSM this morning and wondered “what the heck is going on up there?”. It sounded like 5 or 6 take-offs by large jets in a span of an hour or two… and it kind of caught my attention.
After looking at the FlightAware page for Pease today I see the following:
