United Airlines said some 96 Boeing Co. 757 aircraft have been temporarily grounded voluntarily while the carrier finishes maintenance checks that were not completed.
This has been on the news a lot. . .
Only resulted in a handful of cancellations, just some delays of an hour or so.
It was a “rolling” grounding, not a total stop - every 757 was stopped at some point for about an hour yesterday and this morning to do the update.
Operations are pretty much normal right now.
