As US Airways Employee, I just hope UA, gets another “airline” (cant say which other one…) to solve their HUGE problems, US Airways is not a “BACKUP” for UA!**
I wouldn’t say that US has a ship shape airline. But I do think this could be problematic for UA. They are really losing money, and although I am for consolidation, you wont see the benefits of a merger for years. I don’t know what UA would do with regard to buying US (would they swap stocks or??).
