Hi - running PiAware 3.8.1 on RaspberryPi 2. Is there anyway to also send the ADS-B packets to a syslog host as they are picked up over the air?
Thanks!

What are you trying to achieve?
dump1090-fa is generating aircraft lists and there’s a script available on Github which send the messages to a MySQL DB
Yeah not sure what exactly you are looking for.
Try this command, maybe it’s what you’re looking for:
view1090-fa --no-interactive
Or the raw messages?
Thanks for the tip about the Github script, and the view1090-fa command. I’m really just looking to see the events in a syslog type log or database for curiosity - no planned project or anything. I’m a little bit of a data nerd.
There are millions of messages over the day, you will be overwhelmed
Telnet into your Pi on port 30003
If that is the data you are looking for there are numerous ways to collect it.

Thanks everyone, that gets me started.
