Hi, I’m following the flight SWR288 from Zurich to Johannesbourg. Your website tells me the flight will land on time but I just got a text from Swiss that says the flight is delayed and will land at 221 pm instead of 1020 am… That means the plane on the map is at the wrong position, right?
Look at the bottom of the map. It states that “At least part of this flight occurs outside of FlightAware’s primary service area. Learn more about FlightAware’s coverage”.
I wouldn’t count on the accuracy of a flight’s track if it is outside of the service area.
