Recently, I have started seeing callsigns, “Special Ch”. These are appearing for both civilian and military aircraft.
Any ideas as to what these mean?

“Special Ch” doesn’t fit into the 8 characters available, and there are no lowercase characters encodable in the alphabet used. What are you actually seeing?
