Yes it’s the right place.
Let’s just download a new configuration file:
sudo wget -O /etc/default/dump1090-fa https://raw.githubusercontent.com/flightaware/dump1090/v3.7.1/debian/dump1090-fa.default
Restart dump1090-fa and check if it works.

This is very odd
It seems to be collecting data, but no skyview!, Just going to reboot it all
Does the dump1090-fa log look better now?
You can also check the lighttpd logs, maybe the webserver isn’t running.
journalctl --no-pager -u lighttpd
Got it, very odd
Yes I followed our flow from last time and did lighttpd journals and other things
Once again, thank you for your valuable assistance, making this hobby a social one, and thank you again for all you patience, understanding and time

Anything specific you could make out as the problem?
Anyway great it’s working again
I hope changing the gain also works?
Yep, …I’m learning, and that about sums it up! and if was not for people like you willing to share information, no one would have the patience to try it out
As they say, its all a learning curve, like when I started to learn to fly, they said I would never do it,
…Had my license two and a half years now
