Yes it’s the right place.
Let’s just download a new configuration file:
sudo wget -O /etc/default/dump1090-fa https://raw.githubusercontent.com/flightaware/dump1090/v3.7.1/debian/dump1090-fa.default
Restart dump1090-fa and check if it works.

It seems to be collecting data, but no skyview!, Just going to reboot it all
Does the dump1090-fa log look better now?
You can also check the lighttpd logs, maybe the webserver isn’t running.
journalctl --no-pager -u lighttpd

Yes I followed our flow from last time and did lighttpd journals and other things
