Just a good example of why grammar is important.
For your report, be sure to use your shift key to capitalize letters that need capitalizing. Use punctuation marks. In other words, treat it as something important and don’t use the crappy Internet way of doing grammar and spelling.
Hmmm, got a point for glass cockpit, but I learned in a cheap ole clapped out 172N model which economics would think my training would be 1/2 the cost.
My math sez then the school overcharged me by $30 per hour (102 per hour). Can I request a refund of the difference?

To question the martian, I beleive you “use” grammar, and do not “do” grammar.
My point exactly. Don’t USE the Internet way of *doing *grammar and spelling. I was using the absurd to point out the absurd.
I thank you in advance for not replying to my future postings, al. I don’t know what your problem is (besides being a retired government non-worker) but there’s no need for you to think you know everything.
As stated before, if you post VERIFIABLY (sp?) correct information, you won’t hear a peep out of me.
Otherwise, you are in a public forum and I will call you out on the carpet.
That’s not harraassment, it’s insuring that the person you are responding to is aware they are getting suspect information based on opinions and not fact.
'nuf said on this topic, anything else, take it to the banter thread.
oh Dami got burned… …by the way beleive is spelled believe.
I’ll accept that!! Great catch! That’s what happens when your mother is an English teacher. I’d call it a typo, but forget it, I’ll take that one! haha.
At any rate, good luck on the project. I wish I was able to do such a project back in school. Another place to check (and I apologize for not being able to give an exact source) would be the NASA web site. I remember several years back they had a really cool educational site. It was somewhat basic ,but your mission was to design an aircraft to fly between SFO and JFK. The idea was to use the best wing configuration (swept straight, and it would allow you to use different degrees of sweep) engines (it gave you different variables for engine type) and other parameters (get out the dictionary, too lazy to spell check). You were to design the largest capacity aircraft with the best efficiency. I don’t know if that particular site is up, and I’ve had trouble finding it since, but there may be something similar, plus some other good research items there. Again good luck, sounds like a fun project!
Believe you are talking about the BAD (Basic Aircraft Design or something like that). However, the last time I tried accessing the page, it was down. That was a few months ago.
