Routes from outside USA -> USA

Hi,

As I currently understand for flights coming for example, from Europe, into the USA the route shown on the flight page is only the route from the US boundary onwards. Now what I don’t get, is when I select Waypoints on the map display, all the waypoints from the departure Aerodrome to the arrival are shown. So why can’t FlightAware display the text route if it is able to parse it on the map display?

The waypoints on the map are not derived from the text route; they’re provided independently by ANSPs.
