I bring this up for 2 reasons. Reason 1) Thought anyone who hasn’t seen this might be interested. Reason 2) Those airplanes look like modified Cozy’s, do they not? Anyone know if they are specially built or really are just modified for 300 mph rocket-powered flight?
Actually, it says on their background page and FAQ that they are currently using Velocity airframes, but they plan to explore other airframe options.

They are having a race here in Tulsa on the 24th. I am having a father-son bonding day with my 4 year old. Pics will be taken, unless there is a meltdown of epic proportions by my son.
Don’t stop at pics, videos, videos and crank up the mic gain! 
I’ll try to get both since it will be the second event to use the new camera at (Sony that was just over 2 years old crapped out on us) and having camcorder and camera, plus 4 year-old could be tough.

Scored free VIP tickets to this weekends airshow/rocket race (and some other SWAG). Cameras are being charged, and, believe it or not, the WIFE is coming with me and the kid!

However, the concept of the RRL and the way they have already made it interactive for the public is a good business model and it could be successful. iPhone/iTouch app to be released in about 2 weeks with an iPad app about a month after that. I got to mess around with the app and it is addicting. They also are going to launch a simulator version for home PCs and other gaming platforms (XBOX, PS3, etc) with future plans to link home players against live races in a virtual world.
