During the last couple of days i changed frequently the gain of my setup (using the blue FA stick).
It looks like the differencies of the values between 40.2 and 49.6 do not have that much impact to the results. I left the gain setting running for at least a full day.
Now after a comparison the difference overall seem to be very small regarding flights/messages/range, even if the gain between 49.6 and 40.2 is almost 20%.
Compared to other nearby receivers i would say it’s within the normal deviation, independent from the gain setting.
Anyone tested and experienced this as well?
Currently i have the device running at 40.2. Only lower values will show a decrease in results.
