Plane NC 17951

I do not fly…but my Dad did. He had a plane with the tail number being NC 17951. This was back in the late 1940’s or early 1950’s.

Is there anyway to find information on this plane ???

Per aerofiles.com/regs.html the aircraft was more than likely registered prior to December 1948.
