As updates to the FlightFeeder devices are managed by Flightaware directly, are there plans to PiAware 6 out to existing devices?
Mine is running Jessie and, given that it’s no longer supported are there also plans to upgrade? As I can’t ssh in I can’t run the commands myself to update it.
Yes, next on the list is updating the FlightFeeder software to use PiAware 6.
Re Jessie, if you’re comfortable cracking the case and replacing the FlightFeeder’s sdcard then that’s the most reliable way to update it. Expect a followup soon with details on that.
