One possibility is very strong RF interference. This can happen if a new nearby strong cell/mobile installation started functioning from the date the reception fell down. Please check for RF interference using method shown in following trhread.

Did that.
Think I have the opposite of too much interference.
I literally am picking up nothing!
I’ve ordered another SDR dongle which will be here today.
Hopefully that will solve it!
You can just see some really weak signals in that trace.
It looks like there is a huge amount of attenuation on the incoming signal to the dongle…
It might be worth looking at the PCB to see if there is physical damage to the inner contact of the SMA connector where it connects to the PCB. Does your antenna coax put any stress on the connector? Probably unlikely but If it does, you want to be careful not to damage your replacement dongle.
The sudden loss of signal does suggest some kind of hardware fault. I don’t ever recall it being in position where it could fall or get damaged, but who knows. I blame the cats!
Replacement SDR dongle due in next couple of hours so will know for sure!
You may have had a lightning flash close by. The strong EMF could have damaged your dongle. Had to replace one of mine, though mine did a total failure when the magic smoke escaped from the dongle parts. Congrats on finding the failure. Have fun out there, and stay safe.

That is a possibility. We have had lighting in the past few weeks. But can’t remember when and no way to check really. Hopefully this one will last longer…
