N63WR Learjet 45XR ingests pair of geese at Norfolk

Aircraft is blocked, but Learjet N63WR ingested a pair of geese into the left (pilot’s left) engine while climbing out of the airport at near 1000 ft on July 19th. Aircraft landed safely. After investigation by Honeywell personell, it was determined that the blades did their job, cutting the birds up enough that they didnt affect the engine. no work was needed to be done, and returned to home base on July 24th.

Learjet 60 N160EE departing Morristown NJ on July 24, aborted take-off after ingesting birds and was reported as substantially damaged. No injuries to the two persons onboard.
