N2491L is my airplane and was inaccurately reported as flying over MI. A couple times in the last days. It’s based in Los Angeles at KTOA and has never been flown in the interior states of the US recently. Hopefully FA can correct the issue.
This looks like bad data being provided to us by the FAA. I’d guess that flights you see are actually being flown by N2419L which appears to be active around that area at the right time, but there was a transposition error made somewhere (in ATC comms, or in entering data into the FAA’s systems, etc). For example this flight attributed to 91L and this flight attributed to 19L appear to be from the same aircraft. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot we can do about that type of error…
