This is a beginners question. I notice when I am doing the “live view” that there are numbers of entries under the ICAO column some of which are highlighted in green corresponding to the appearance of an aircraft symbol. My question is, “under conditions or circumstances” do those entries become highlighted in green. Tks much.
The highlighted rows are ADS-B aircraft providing position data, thus they are plotted on the map. Other rows are aircraft that are only providing Mode S data.

…the basic mode-s data does not have any positional information - so you don’t have enough info to plot the plane on the map.
