Hi there,
New to this hobby, looking to buy a Raspberry PI 4, 2GB installed. Would this be okay for the PiAware software. I do not intend to use the PI 4 for anything else but flight tracking.
Thanks
Nick

That will work just fine, maybe more than you need!
I have been using a PiZeroW 1 and feed to five sites, no problem. I did however start with the lite version of the Raspberry OS (No Desktop).
Have fun!
Thanks for the quick reply. Cheers again
That will be more then enough for a flightfeeder.
On average my 2GB models (I use Orange Pi’s) have a memory use of 8-10 % .
15% Max use on a 512Mb Pi 2
Thanks for the advice, ordered the 2Gb version now.
In this case it is even “too much” memory. Many are feeding with a Zero W which does have 512 MB only
That’s is mine. Raspberry 4B with 2GB RAM.
Beside the feed there is a nginx instance and the WeeWX software for my weather station.
Orange is buffer, so not really “used” memory. Uptime is three days now
