Anyone know what might have caused the crash or who was onboard?
Our airplane happens to be parked at the same airport for a few weeks. It looks like 3 American crew members were on board, no passengers. It was a US based charter company’s G4… They had dropped the pax in Nice and because of limited parking they were repositioning to Le Castellet. Between a few pictures in the local papers and talking to a crew that had landed before them and had just left the airport when the crash happened, it appears to be a nasty crash. Airplane broke up and burned well off the runway. That is all we know at this time.
