Flight Track missing since last year


My flight track data has been missing for every one of my flights in the Northeast US since perhaps October of 2006. Note the map is missing the track and if you drill into the track, a webpage error occurs.


Is this due a problem in receiving track data from the FAA, or is this a FlightAware issue?


Probably the former. It’s been mentioned in another thread that if your flight stays within one FAA zone throughout its duration, the flight tracking info never gets sent to the “main” FAA computer and therefore isn’t accessible by FA.
