Flight Plan Route Decoded - Value Decreasing

Dear Support

I have some problem understanding the data provided in the below link:
https://flightaware.com/live/flight/ANA12/history/20200709/0820Z/RJAA/KORD/route

The distance flown column starts with 0 and then 8788. Afterwards it reaches 2169. The distance flown column should be increasing in value. It is not understandable why the value decreased from 8788 to 2169.

The route decoding on that page (and the FlightXML DecodeFlightRoute function) is not recommended for flights that are outside of the continental US, as waypoints names are not globally unique and can be incorrectly resolved to a different location than intended.
