If I remember correctly from posts last spring/summer, there were plans to enable MLAT in the reasonably near future.
I know there are lots of piawares in the land of milk and honey but they are spread thin in our area.
We can save a lot of time and money if the Flight Feeder MLAT is enabled.
These 200-400 mile road trips to install a PiAware get expensive and swimming a couple hundred miles for other installs is not in my plans.
So, please, Flight Aware Team, get those Flight Feeders MLATing (or tell us you are not going to do it).
Part of the problem is that the FFs run quite different software to piaware so everything has to be done twice.
I have an ongoing project to make them run basically the same stuff as piaware, at which point they will get mlat etc, but I don’t have a completion date for that at the moment.
