Far out

Tracking a flight this evening (JST216), way beyond my typical range and what is predicted using up Heywhatsthat (red dotted line), any thoughts on this oddity? It seems to happen fairly regularly in that particular flight path.

Tropospheric ducting

It’s an error, it shows altitude 22,000 meters (72,000 feet). No commercial plane flies that high.

PS: Change your settings to feet, that’s what is used internationally for flight levels.

That’s obviously an error, but that plane has no location.
The JST flight at 600km is right on its expected flight path.
I think this one is believable.

302BEA is bad data, not the aircraft I was talking about. I get those from time to time after moving to a AirSpy from my FlightStick.
