Something deeply weird going on here. It looks like an attempt to describe some odd parameters between here and Pittsburgh… neither of which is anywhere near where this flight is supposed to be (Newark-Raleigh, it says). What’s up? American Airlines flights 3000-4999 (give or take) are operated by American Eagle. Not a big deal, we have code in place to handle express/regional carriers. They also trim off the leading digit (a reasonably common practice), so both AAL3651 and AAL4651 operate as EGF651.
The problem you’re seeing is that both EGF651’s operate at the same time, so we get tracking data alternating between Philadelphia and Illinois, resulting in the odd map and behavior that you’re seeing.
