eBay Gulfstream Jet

Any idea why the eBay G550 (N159JA) has not moved in over a year? At least is hasn’t moved in the United States.

They may have a unique call sign. Such as EBY1, so unless you seached that way you’ld never find it. An example is Net Jets show up as EJA690 (which would be N690QS)

Just a thought.

Did you Google it?

Thanks for the idea. I found a posting on Airliners.net that stated they used the call sign TAG 487. I tracked that and it appears to be the same plane. It’s traveling from Luxembourg to San Jose. I didn’t realize they would track a plane by a call sign instead of the tail number. Thanks again.

Another good resource - mentioned many times in these pages - is the excellent work by Alex Antonakis particularly with fixed callsigns.

A very useful website.

EBay’s airplane does indeed appear to be managed by TAG Aviation, and therefore, flying under the TAG callsign.

The eBay GV is flying under the N159JA callsign again. I guess the plane is no longer managed by TAG Aviation.
