I am trying to get connected to Flightaware flight tracking on a Raspberry pi. Does the Windows download titled “PIAWARE ON RASPBIAN LINUX 2.1-5 ZIP” contain the dump 1090 or do I have to obtain dump 1090 elsewhere?
Unzip it, put it on an SD card and plug it in.
If is the FA image, username is ‘pi’ and password it ‘flightaware’
It contains all you need to get data feeding to Flightaware.
Ensure that it is correctly burned to an SD card. You can’t just copy the file.
