Does anyone monitor AIS (Ship and Vessel Tracking?)

You probably won’t find one sold for AIS specifically, but you should be able to find one for VHF

Due to strong voice channels close to AIS frequency, a very narrow-band filter is required.

ShipXplorer uses TaiSaw 395 which has a wider band than needed.

Here is anothere shot. Nothing other than 504 is marked on the chip. I have taken several shots, and this is the best my camera got. Although the enlarged cutout shows someting is marked at lication of 4 terminals, it is so dim and small cant be read by naked eye, and a camera. May be through a micriscope can be read. A proper narrow band TaiSaw 405 chip is available from DigiKey, but it needs to be installed on a pcb.
