FWIW I can’t duplicate your problem either. In this specific instance XPP SR3, Thinkpad T61p, 4GB RAM, with Safari, Chrome or IE8.
I’ll try it again later today on one of my other machines running Windows 7.
There’s no “Auto-complete” when I enter CYQX, merely a dropdown list. Nor need I hit enter more than once, certainly not three times consistently.
Sounds like a possible Java problem on your systems to me.
(The other poster who attempted to address your problem didn’t make a “ridiculous comment” when he shared his experience with you, he was merely offering his results for your consideration. But, you probably needn’t worry ever again about having to read his attempts to help.)
WOW! my apologies for attempting to help resolve the issue. I didn’t say “In my experience” I said “From my experience” as in: “From my experience of opening multiple airport pages and multiple flight pages and not having the same problems on my browser that the OP was having, I would say that the problem is with the OP’s browser.” I’m sorry that I didn’t spell it out for everyone to read, I just assumed that they would know what I meant, but like JHEM said you won’t have to worry about reading my attempts to help you…oh wait!
