I noticed that aircraft type has been mistake since three days ago for Delta Air Lines Flight 7. It should be Boeing 777-200ER, not LR because Delta Air Lines Flight 7 is coming from Atlanta, Ga as Delta Air Lines 8. Why they are not show 772?
How do you KNOW this to be a mistake?
Delta operates 10 777-200LR’s and only 8 -ER’s.
I’m sure they are swapped a fair bit and DXB being one of the longer routes that could be served with an ER, probably sees the LR quite a bit.
We’re receiving varying information from the airline and FAA regarding the aircraft type. Fortunately the difference isn’t terribly consequential.
