This morning when I look at my stats page the dates are shown in Japanese. This is a new feature 
I don’t think it is a browser issue as it shows this in both Safari and Chrome. I checked some other sites and they don’t show the dates in Japanese.

Thanks. I didn’t suspect something like that as nothing else is in Japanese on the page. I guess it really isn’t translated.
Well, they are at least ISO-compliant in the field order and much easier to read than the US date format…
I think there is actually a bug in here as I just had this happen too, and it was only a partial localization change - only date formats were affected, not the whole page.
I’ve created a bug report for it. In the meantime, you can fix it by resetting the locale back to your choice of language using the links at the bottom of each page.
I came here to say this as well. Just happened to me a few moments ago and was pretty sure I did not click any bottom links. Easy enough to reset by the link at the bottom

Yesterday I had the same issue too.
Luckily it never happen to me by itself.
When I saw roadfun’s post, I clicked Japanese at bottom of page to recreate roadfun’s situation. I thought he has unknowingly clicked it by mistake.
I saw it too. In my case, the anomaly would appear or disappear when I hit refresh, so the language configuration wasn’t actually stored wrong anywhere. Rather I think a script somewhere wasn’t able to access the user configuration due to the same network/server issues that were causing the erroneous “under maintenance” tiles I saw elsewhere on the page.
