I like FlightAware, but currently use another app for flight tracking, because I want to see the data blocks (id, type, altitude, speed, destination, etc). I’m pretty happy with the app I use, and even pay a small subscription. The one gap that FA does better seems to be slightly better coverage, based on either a more robust network of receivers or other data sources.
Either I haven’t found the magic setting, or the app doesn’t support data blocks. It would be great if it did.
